hey tant01 theres nothing wrong with the ninja weapons you mentioned, but you dont have to put "jutsu" after every word just ie "shuriken" you should say, unless you are referring to the training/fighting also with the weaopon, the word jutsu means fighting, and ninja weapons are very effective man, easily consealed, and deadly. as for the nunchaka guy i dotn reccomend that you carry a pair, there too big, and especialy the uncrewable ones, there so slow to get out if you need them, i wouldent reccomment fighting many assailents that are armed with blades, on your own with some nunchaka, i suggest you run and get some back up or higher ground to fend them off if you cant run.

check out that link, the omega stun baton, im going to purchase one very soon, they seem very effective better than stun guns or tasers, but hard to conceal still is a good weapon. check out other weapons on that site for self defence they have some good stuff.

Rolled up newspapers make the best unsuspecting weapons and can offer quite good damage, this from experience!

yes a newspaper is an effective weapon but not rolled up more like rolled into a long thing then folded in the middle, so there is a hard point and it turns out really hard, in london its called a chelsea brick. i think kabutons are really good weapons legal aswell, cane also is legal and converted umbrellas, my friend has a car stearing lock thats actually a solid metal baseball bat the police laugh when they pulled him over and see what his stearing lock was, but they couldent say anythign because its a lock nice weapon for your car.

6 Balisongs

i carry 6 Balisongs 2 in my front pockets, 2 around my ankle, one above my right hand, and one in belt loops... it's a carry case for the knife. i also have a razor in my wallet, i not sure what im going to use it for, but you never know

At all costs avoid a fight or anyone who has a weapon of any kind. Most people will use guns and in that case you don't have many options .Best thing to do is listen and do what they want. If they have a knife or something then you could like run or if they get too colse try to defend yourself but it is too risky even if you good with weapons. In some states you can carry a gun with you for self-defense. That can help but the attacker will suprise you in all cases so it still can be hard to pull it off with the gun as well. I think that if you can carry a gun and it is legal then it is ok and you should carry it everywhere you go. If you can't then at least have like a pocket knife with you. You can't get in trouble for having that. If someone attacks you with their fists or knife it can help but against a gun that is useless as well.

Fear the gunman, not the gun. While it is a general rule of thumb that an armed man will use the weapon as he intends, a man with a knife is more dangerous than a man with a gun....is a matter of intent.

I don't carry one in the mean time but when I grow up and learn some more about knife fighting, stick fighting or any weapon, I plan on carrying one but right now I rely on things I think I can use much better.

GEnrally I do not, because of my being more skilled hand to hand then w/ any weapon.

But, i have been known to carry a blunt weapon once apon a time(staffs especially, being my 'favorite' weapon-im best w/ a staff-). Blunt weapons because i do not intend on killing anyone, and, althought it is still possible, its not likely that i will be killing someone w/ a bat of quarterstaff. Also, they are more acceptible then a blade(knives can be exceptions) in society.

Lastly,more on unarmed, I would carry no weapon in inent to disarm him or perhaps be more negociable w/ the ...erm...oppponent.. A weapon makes you seem more of a threat, especially against a already hostile/nervous person. If need be to fight, being unarmed also keeps you out of some legal disputes, but thats another story...lol.
Besides, your body can be a good weapon on its own if experienced in the matter.

if a more powerful person (or group of persons) is attempting to severely or even (heavens forbid) lethally harm you, i believe it would be in your best interests to have access to (and trained exceptional skill with) a weapon.

this is assuming there is no alternative but to fight for your life and well-being.

If a group of unarmed people attack you and you pull a weapon, you may intimidate some crowds, but those crowds are the crowds that wouldnt harm you too bad either. In a tough unarmed crowd, you might be able to hit one or two guys with ur weapon b4 they get it from you and turn it on you. I know a guy that tried fightin a group with a bat and it didn't turn out pretty.

so a machine gun (a weapon) isnt the proper thing to meet a human wave attack with? you prefer words and your educated hands and feet? Hmmm yeah okay..... Beside where did you find a group of unarmed people? what nudist colony do you get in fights at?
