heres the truth but nothing the truth first of all buy vcd titled Bruce Lee Curse of the Dragon. according to the police report in hongkong bruce lee actually engage in real fight in street. he beat 20 MUAY THAI FIGHTERS INCLUDING THIER INSTRUTORS, which this bullshit MUAY THAI came from Thailand to challenge Bruce Lee, however in just 15 minutes Bruce Lee beat this guys easily. another is during the set of the Big Boss and Enter the Dragon he engage in real fight with many witnesses. another is during his stay in America (i forgot the exact address) there is a KARATE MASTER who came to his house and ask for a match and Bruce Lee madly luanch his most powerfur and fastest side kick that took that MASTER off his feet in 12 feet. Ok another is during his years in SAn Francisco that he is teaching American with chinese martial art that it is prohibited but Bruce Lee ignore it, because for him everyone is deserving and all of us are human beings and we are all citizens of the earth. then the chinense community send a challenger to Bruce Lees' Jun Fan Kwoon and the fight took 3 minutes of running which the said challenger is a Master Fighter but he is the one who is running and Bruce Lee is Pursuing to catch this Kung Fu Guy but within 3 minutes Bruce Lee caught him and trap him with Wing Chun Method. And William Cheung and Linda Lee are there as a witness.
If Bruce Lee is alive surely Bruce Lee will join in UFC and PRIDE FC but because of Bruces' skill which really deadly that even the US Navy SEALS are now learning it is not allowed to UFC because of some rules. If Bruce will join in UFC Gracie is DEAD because if Gracie will take a step towrd Bruce surelly Bruce will kick his KNEE and suddenly to the groin and the game is off Bruce Lee wins okay if Gacie caught him with leg or arm bar bruce will tear his fleash with his teeth, stomp his head, grab Gracies' groin and Bruce wins. if Bruce will take the offense, Bruce will feint and surely Gracie will grb it if Gracie catch it Bruce will immediately kick his groin, his knee, apply floating punch or 1 inch punch. if Muay Thai Fighter will hook his thigh Bruce will stop kick it, if it is a high hook level to his body or head Bruce will grab it and break the little fingers in his feet. at clinch Bruce Lee will bite his enmeis ear, side of neck, or even the throath. Bruce is as Deadly as the Tazmania and Killer as the Murderer.

in real fight Bruce never hop like you see in movies, or even shout WWWAATTTTAAHHHH, he is silent as the wind and steady as the mountain but moves with his footwork like light.

the problem of you guys (including all kind of martial artists) is that you talk and even shout and praise yourself when bruce lee died. someone told that bruce lees' method is stupid, well for me why did you not challenge him when he still alive? some also says that bruce was just an martial actor well and his martial art is not effective, then why that NAVY SEALS, SWAT and other militar are asking for PAULs' skill to teach them? ok man, try to ask your instructor, if your a martial artist, to fight with PAUL or even LARRY HARTSELL or BURTON and just see the result.. And im around the same size as Bruce well about, really like the size of Brandon Lee which was around 5'11 or 6ft tall and about 167.2, but bruce was 165 only like 5'7, to say ill be better than Bruce or that i won't but ill dominate K-1 lightweight middleweight heavyweight whoever wants to fight we'll that's my plans for now they may change

I read many of these posts for a good laugh. It's like which super hero could kick another super hero's ass-- Absurdity.

The entire proposition of the post is laughable as well. It wasn't even posted as a serious question.

I think the real question should be, is Bruce Lee's work as a fighter/philosopher/actor overrated? That question can be discussed and I would respect anyone's opinion so long as his/her arguements were logical and well thought out.

To the people who want to play the "who is the biggest bad ass" game-- I ask you what can you do? If you want to talk fighting-- Who's ass can you kick? You want to talk fighting philosophy-- What is your own personal philosophy and can you defend it against rational arguments? Is Bruce Lee a good actor? Opinions vary, but why is something like this so contraversial??

Aaaaahhhh...everything should be proved in the ring. I love Bruce Lee movies, and I think it is possible that Bruce waz strongest in his weight category. Well I dont give a shit how good Bruce waz. He'd never beat a HeavyWeight, a good HeavyWeight like one of top ten heavy weight boxers. I doubt Bruce'd beat Jones Jr. too. But yeah, he'd probably beat many of his weight

P.S. Perhaps Bruce'd get on the ring, afterall, he was young enough and wasnt thinkin of dieing. But, then again, 33 is the age you should get on the ring. 40 year old is not a boxer

Re Wong Leung ... I can't say much about him since I've only read a few interviews. One in a Hong Kong magazine, the other in U.S. publications. As far as I remember, he was Lee's senior when Lee was a kid but the adult Lee was a different story.
First of all, take his dedication: eight hours of physical training per day, and the rest in 'mental study' of the martial arts... he could perform 80 pull ups with one arm, kick a ceiling ... break heavy bag chains (he did this several times in front of different witnesses). In his last years, he had a razor training device that I doubt very much any fighter today would get near. If you missed, you would get cut. So anyone who says 'I could have taken Lee' can build this device and see if he has the accuracy, timing and speed (it was also electrified) ....
Some of the credible people on record : Gene Labell in his website said "Bruce was the best of his time." In his latest book, however, he says Chuck Norris could beat Lee. Now, does he mean the Norris of today if Lee was living?
Jon Benn (the villain in Way of Dragon) says that he had dinner with Norris and asked him, Who would win in a real fight between you and Bruce? Norris said, Why, Bruce of course. No one could beat him.

James DeMile: when he met Lee he had been Air Force heavyweight undefeated boxer and over 100 street fights. He really tried to hit Lee when they first met, but was helpless. So he swallowed his pride and became his pupil.. They developed close punch that was designed to 'destroy anything it hits' ... DeMile says that "Bruce could have beaten us all at the same time." And this was when Lee was in his early twenties. Those Seattle students were according to DeMile, tough customers, mostly pretty big guys, too. DeMile in an interview spoke of Inosanto saying he witnessed Lee spar with Joe Lewis. "It was no contest. Like Ali fighting a golden glover." He also said that Inosanto graciously said, "Without naming names, Bruce was far above any of the martial artists of his era."

Inosanto is also quoted as saying that Lee really had to hurt some people. Yet, he did not hold grudges, and tried to avoid these conflicts. From all I've seen, Inosanto is a class act, and is not saying such just to 'perpetuate the Lee myth.'

The top athletes seem to agree. Sugar Ray Leonard is a fan of Lee's, as are other western boxers. Kareem Abdul Jabbar said that when he trained with Lee, he couldn't keep up. This is from a world class athlete in his prime.
Chuck Zito (the guy who reportedly floored Van Damme in New York) says in his book (paraphrase) Lee could beat three guys at the same time.

Olympic weightlifter Harold "Oddjob" Sakata said that when he met Lee, Lee was already in the process of mastering his art.

On a personal observation, I met a Hong Kong documentary filmaker two years ago; he met some of the original Lee stuntment. They were in awe of him. One 'trick' he could do was put his fist on the ground, stick his thumb out and then bend down and put his thumb in his mouth. The stuntment said they had never seen anyone who could do that. I think most would agree that those stuntment were pretty tough characters, too.

Well, the above are a few of the 'name' martial artists, and you can research them for yourself and come up with specific names of who Lee actually fought. And finally, remember Lee didn't back down from the Triads. As DeMIle says, "There are people who can doubt Bruce's real ability. The same cannot be said for those who actually knew him.... and: for Joe Lewis to say Bruce was not a fighter is ridiculous." (And here he interjected the story of Lee and Lewis sparring).

Bruce lee shud beat any body with his personal art jeet kune do with other ppl styles any day. Hes fliud that makes it easy to adapt into their style and beat it. Bruce lee is a very fast man , they call him the fastest fist on the east. Bruce trains 6days a week to find the limit to the human body.
