On vacation I went fishing caught a great big fish. Called "Bullshit" . FIVE FEET LONG GREAT BIG .100lbs. Threw back.


" Bozo" is a very special compliment usually reserved for those people that have authority in your life. For example you might want to go into work and tell your boss that you think he is a "real bozo". Or your grandmaster ,or sensai you may tell him that he is also a "real bozo". If you encounter any police officers ,it would also be recomended that you tell them that they are some "real bozo's" also.

In the US around 1960's or so (maybe 1950's) there was a very popular TV show called "Bozo the Clown". It was a kid's show and "Bozo" (who dressed as a clown) was like the host (see link). The use of BOZO is now slang and has several meanings ...all negative(clown, looser, full of shit etc)

Back to the thread...strikers vs. grapplers.

His foot work is good (pivots away from the other guys punch) and keeps his distance, tries to get a throw, places his leg in dead center of the other guys (another clue that the guys knows something about throws) but in the heat of the fight didn't bend his legs to lower himself below the shorter guys center of gravity. Nice karate style knee from the clinch too.

1.Have you ever had a street fight?
2. Have you ever fought a grappler?
3.What is your win/loss ratio in street fights?

Just knowing the answers to these questions will explain all of your posts.

Damn little guy got schooled by the big guy!

Little guy should of walked away from this one. The big guy didn't look all that gung ho to fight. The little guy let his ego get in the way and from the look at the end of the clip he may have been knocked out.

Yeah, the little guy looked pissed but you never know what lead to that fight. He was swinging wildly.

as a fellow kungfu practicioner id have to say that kungfu guy was stupid as hell going for that kind of opening attack against a mmaist.

im not saying sherwinc is right or nothin im just sayin that the kungfu fighter really sucks at making opening attacks, and that mma guy did a great job of seeing that and countering his attack and putting him down.

i would have to say a person who has alot of experience in both categories of striking and grappling would have the best chance, but overall if it was mostly striking or grappling i would have to say its pretty even, but if the grappler gets the striker to the ground than the grappler more than likely has the match won, so a grappler might have more of an advantage.
