What can Lewis do that Seagal can't? Hmmmm...maybe fight?
What does weight have to do with it? Seagal weighs over 300 lbs. with something probably approaching 30% bodyfat I would imagine. He's a tubby boy. He's got no wind. That you can count on. His mobility is limited. He is terribley slow. His slowness is totally evident in his recent films; I have pointed out that he is more akin to David Carradine in embarassing on screen skill these days.
He cannot block a Lennox Lewis punch. Because of the aforementioned lard, his reaction time is likely to be too slow. Also, it would probably break his tubby little hands. Also, you don't "block" the punches of a champion professional boxer if you're not one yourself. You take a few in the process of blocking. Taking a few from Lennox Lewis puts tubby boy on the floor, unconscious. Seagal can "karate-chop", or, more properly, apply his atemi waza all day to Lewis. Since Seagal's atemi waza will not be even 1/10 of the force of a Tyson punch, and since Lewis can withstand Tyson's blows, it stands to reason that Lewis will not even notice that the whale hit him. Oh, and you're assuming that the whale has the speed to even hit Lewis. Which he doesn't. So what exactly is your point?
Please go to your local boxing gym immediately. Tell them Steven Seagal can kick the crap out of Lennox Lewis. Then tell them as a badass aikidoka you can use your ki power to knock out their best boxer. When you wake up you will be looking up at the ceiling. Get a clue.

A 7th BB in aikido can defend himself well......unfortunately most of aikido is defense and not offense.......everyone might be able to throw a hard punch, but throw a hard punch like a heavyweight boxer.......different story.......
I'll put it to you this way. I was watching this show one time and they were talking about pro boxers and they were saying what would happen say if Mike Tyson came up and threw his hard punch into just a normal guy's stomach. They pretty much said that he would hurt a normal guy so much they would be lucky if he did not snap their back when he hit them.
I mean have you seen someone like Tyson hit the heavy bag? He can hit that bag harder with his punches that probably 80% of MMA can kick the bag with good MT roundhouse kicks.......that is a damn hard punch........
My guess would be a one hit knock out on Seagal. The man is good but he won't stand up to that punch I guarantee.

see falcon, im not sure if robert is trying to say that all boxers would kick martial artists asses or just a certain boxer like lennox lewis in particular would kick a certain martial artists ass like seagal...im not trying to compare them in terms of what style/sport they are an expert in...lennox lewis tries to throw a punch at seagal and seagal would block it and gives lewis a clothesline and hes down on the ground...I think throwing a hard punch like tyson has to do with mentality...tyson can throw a harder punch than most boxers because hes crazy and hes a lunatic...I agree that tyson is a good and strong fighter, but lewis is levels down from tyson...it depends on the person not the fighting style and I still believe seagal could take out lewis...I also believe bruce lee would take out tyson...a bruce lee kick is like the same as a mike tyson punch in my opinion...I think someone said ali could take out lebell, now thats a laugh...ali would get killed if he ever faced tyson and im talking about ali in his prime...

Congragulations! You have earned the most clueless person of the week award! It was a toss up between you and Paul Wilson, but you are truly deserving now. Seagal blocking Lewis and clotheslining him! LMFAO Bruce Lee could not take out Tyson either. Lebell would not have taken out Ali and I'm sure he would tell you that. A Bruce Lee kick does not equal a Tyson punch. Pure physics. Do the math my boy. Tyson has more lean muscle mass than Bruce Lee and has perfect form. Therefore Tyson can transmit more force than Lee could. Mathematical fact. So much crap in this post, I don't even know what to address. Lewis is levels down from Tyson? And that is why Tyson was on his ass with his face all busted up when they got done fighting, right? Ali getting killed by Tyson is also a ridiculous assertion. You don't know a thing about boxing, do you? I'm pretty sure that Sonny Liston and George Foreman both could punch somewhere in range of Tyson's force. They were brutally hard hitters. Ali could take their punches, he could have taken Tyson's. Add the fact that Ali had far superior technique to Tyson and I very much doubt its the cakewalk you think it would be for Mike. Dude, just stop it with the boxing. You know ZERO about boxing. Movie stars cannot fight professional boxers. Movie stars make movies. They are on the set, memorizing lines, sitting on their ass, not training. Professional boxers are in the gym from the crack of dawn till the evening. You are comparing a (bad) ACTOR to PROFESSIONAL BOXERS! You are comparing Bruce Lee to a guy with equal speed (in his prime Tyson has incredible hand speed) and twice his size. You are comparing Gene Lebell to arguabley the greatest boxer to ever live (who was admired by both Lee and Lebell, and I'm sure both would admit that Ali would have kicked their respective asses, and that is taking nothing away from either....). Get a clue.

you think im clueless because I dont have the same opinion as you robert? thats not kind of you robbie...I think someone is watching a little to much boxing... seagal would take lewis down and lebell would choke ali out! I dont care enough to know anything about boxing because theres really not that much to know...I punch you and you punch me... lee is 10 times faster than tyson and if you dont know that, than youre lacking in common sense...ali was not the greatest boxer that ever lived...tyson would eat him for dinner and you should realize that too...in all honesty, ali was one of the weakest boxers i ever seen fight...
I find it incredible that someone really thinks that Steven Seagal could fight the Heavy Weight champion of the world. Just incredible. Its stupidity beyond the course of duty.......
I'm stickin' with Rob on this one. There is no chance in hell that Seagal could take out Lewis (this is what we call watching too much movies.....lol). As far as Bruce Lee against Ali.......hmmmmmmm......that one would be hard to call so I am not going to say anything.......but as far as Tyson against Ali, damn, get a clue man. Ali fought George Foreman in his hayday who was better than Mike Tyson ever was and had a harder punch too. I don't know if you ever saw this fight but just to make a long story short George's big hits (probably the hardest boxing has ever seen) could not take down Ali and the technical master overcame and won........I'm sorry but Ali was a hell of a boxer.

So you've seen Joe Louis and Ali. That means you've been watching boxing since, oh, the early 60's at least. That would put you at somewhere in your 50's or 60's at least. Yet your posts peg you as a teenager. So how exactly did you watch Joe Louis and Ali if you were born in the 80s or perhaps 90s? Doesn't make much sense.
And why do you like Tyson all of the sudden. I think you said originally that Seagal could beat up Tyson too. I don't believe you've actually ever watched an entire boxing match in your short life.
And the fact that you think Ali was one of the worst boxers YOU HAVE NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN, well that sort of proves my assertion doesn't it? I mean Ali is almost unanimously considered the best ever--at least top 3 I'd say. And that opinion was held by your idols Bruce Lee and Gene Lebell who know a lot more about what makes a good fighter than any of us. That opinion is held by boxing experts and lay persons alike. So basically everyone else in the world is wrong and you are the most knowledgable boxing expert in the world. Sorry, I don't believe in this sociological relativism--all opinions are not equal. Your opinion is absurd, wrong and just plain stupid. And thats a fact.

who hasnt seen ali fight man or any other big name boxer for that matter? I like some boxers like I said...when was this kid born? lol ever heard of the sports channel? they play old fights all the time you nimrod...get a clue sir... the way you talk about ali and lewis is if you were sleeping with them...well, tyson and seagal would be a good match, but the more I think about it, I really cant call it because they are both tough bad asses...I know seagal would make lewis his bitch...not everyone likes ali as a boxer boy...he wasnt all that great in my opinion, so get over it...not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you...you silly boy you...
Bruce's power was another story. You must have seen the photos and heard Wally Jay's story about Bruce nailing the 300 lb heavy bag and sending it flying. His punching power was 600+ PSI?, which is where most heavy weights are. This little guy had tremendous power!
I think his power is from the thousands of kicks and punches that he threw every day. You see the same thing with light weight thaiboxers who fold bags with their kicks; sure they look boney, but they can nail the piss out of anything with those shins and knees.
