Um, ok. But not if someone knows how to keep you there and is interested in doing so, right?

When several guys start chasing you, you run.
When someone fires a gun you run.
When someone pulls a knife you run.

        Most realistic situation.
        Another who has common sense!

        • They are real fights. They just know how to avoid and take punishment. 2 minutes of rage from someone that does not know what they are doing will result in them being spent and that is when the real fighting begins. The true fighter will weather the storm, bleed his blood, and then damage his opponent.

          • I'd say boxing and Muay thai were used in fights Ive seen or "real fights". Alot of them have been 2 drunks just swinging at each other an then gettin tired an giving up or getting broken up so most "real fights" normal people get into arent shit. Then you got da guys that are tough an know what their doing who usualli beat down their opponents an sometimes get jumped. Lastly you got the guys esp underworld related ones (esp the russians) that just dont give a **** an go skitz ,they will pull out a knife or gun, or any weapon an go crazy with it cuz they have alot of back up are known to the bouncers an know they can do anthing they like an just dont care for the law. These are the sort u dont **** with no matter what Martial arts you know so Id say the best thing to do is not let Martial arts get into ones head on the streets. So just cuz guys in the UFC or K1 can fight that doesnt mean shit to some people or make them immune to the streets espcially da night life violence.

              • LOL bricks now thats new
We personally prefer the metal pole... esp good for warnings.Easy to carry, does the job ,keeps it clean atleast sometimes, doesnt have the same implications as a gun or knife an makes the victim not want to take it up with da cops.

Cool. Tell us about those fights you saw with boxing in muay thai. It'd be interesting to hear.

                      • One fight involved one of my friends who wanted to give some smart ass a warning. So we invited him to talk it out. Unfortunatly he was still being a smart ass so once everyone got outside ,my friend just went skitz ran up to guy an punched him till he backed up near a wall then clinched him kneened his face dropped him an stomped his head against the wall till da guy wasnt moving... luckily for him some of his friends were there to take him to hospital. A time back when i was out with some Amro's we stumbled across some try hards we decided to have some fun an beat the hell outta 2 of them while the otha 3 ran. Another time was when there was an arranged 1-1 fight with no jump ins between two guys who had problems with each other. One was a decent boxer the otha didnt seem to know how to fight. Anyways the boxers just started pounding the otha guy who had no idea what to do I think he knocked out 3 of the otha guys front teeth in the process. Thing I noticed about most of the fights I've seen were the victims were too scared to fight back or didnt have any idea on how to fight back properly

Probably alot, but mostly in the ring or on the mat. Anyone whos fought has taken a beating some time or another.

                              • If you're at a serious disadvantage you should retreat/stay alive

Anyone who is serious about starting trouble and trying to steal from, attack, burglarize, threaten or harass people usually does not do so without having a gun. Most criminals want the advantage of

                                1. Intimidation with firearm.
                                2. Advantage of firearm against unarmed victim.
                                3. Ability to shoot and fire from a distance or even from moving vehicles.
                                4. Handguns are easy to conceal and hide.
                                5. They don't wanna waste their time fighting someone while the police arrive. They wanna shoot at victim then get away ASAP

I've heard of plenty of times when 2 guys get in a verbal arguement at a party and instead of a fight starting right there one guy will just back out and say he's sorry and leaves. He then comes back with gun and shoots the other guy and runs. No "fight", just a shoot out, that's it. Average length of most gun battles according to FBI is less than 5 seconds. They happen mostly at night.
