Considering that the average poster here seems horribly unaware of the implications of SD it's a piss poor attitude to give bad advice out for your own entertainment. And the UK's population wonders why they're not allowed weapons? How about because their supposed martial artists (who should know better) give advice like, "You've got your concealed carry permit, now get a beer".
TT. Stay off my posts. You're starting to irritate me.

bloody hell, i think you need to understand something then about how people in the UK talk, or just people in general.
      Thats a ridiculous post.
Hes so obviously not telling someone to get pissed with guns.

Though personally i can not think of anything better than being pissed off my face and firing wildly into the street.

Stop giving advice that's so bad it's criminal. You've got a habit of giving bad advice and I will point it out, too bad if you don't like it.

Maybe you ought to read the questions he's given dumbassed and dangerous advice to. People who ask advice clearly need guidance on the subject, if you think someones a kook or a goof, giving stupid advice isn't funny, it's just stupid. Mike has a habit of giving STUPID advice and trying to weasel out when caught, check this classic:

Why should LEO and the Military train in the martial arts and edged weapons? Because not doing so will leave you ignorant of their uses and make you more vulnerable to them. You cannot arrest someone (part of the job) without going hands on and making arrest is not a minute fraction of police work (or a soldiers these days). Knowing your enemy and the tools he may use against you while on the job is a basic tenet of warriorship and a key to survival.

Have YOU ever arrested anyone????? I damn sure have and without a functional knowledge of edged weapons use and the martial arts I wouldn't be making this post.

Training to properly do your job and survive is perhaps THE most important focus any officer should have. IF you're a paper pusher or a computer geek then H2H may not be that important but anyone tasked with detaining and arresting potential terrorist (FBI Agents) needs H2H and edged weapon training because its a part of the terrorist toolkit. The FBI allocates time for spiritual training for its field agents, thats FAR less important than proper weapons training IMO.

His priceless reply to that one?

I bet you'd have preferred I stayed off that post too eh? People pointing out your stupid advice irritates you? Well people giving stupid advice irritates me. If you were as obviously a clown as Jubaji I'd have you on ignore like him because NO ONE is stupid enough to take his advice on training, you on the other hand actually have some training, so when you post in weapon or SD threads I check for the stupidity you're becoming known for, leave it out and I'll ignore you too.

No need to read the posts I see popping in from the guy on my ignore list who claims he suplexes people as his knife defense, if he's supporting your side you know where you stand.

.....oh dear, how very sad. If its not re-hashing old Mike B posts now its some of mine. You're such a tough guy, a warrior, a guy who once found the "roll eyes" icon and has since made a career out of it.

Your purpose on this forum, as opposed to standing up for your own point of view, is to try and make other people look a fool. You are devoid of irony, sarcasm or an appreciation of humour - which is why you don't get my posts. I had you pegged from day one: an insecure, bitter, old washed up bully who needs to shit on other people here to make himself feel better.

My contribution here, given the pos rep and very kind pm's I get, is appreciated. I've made some good posts, some OK posts, and some not great posts. Would you ever admit to that? No, all your posts have been perfect, eh captain?

What bothers you the most is that I am a 33 year old athlete considered by some of the best martial artists in the world to be a very good fighter and teacher. You hate that. And so all you have left is to try and humiliate me on your keyboard. Is that why you have anonymously neg repped me twice? You think I dont know that? I have more functions on here than you know, you're pissing up the wrong tree my friend.

This place is nothing more than a group of friends and some fun on an evening when I am at a loose end. To you, its like the war you undoubtedly lost...and you're still desperate to fight. If you need me to be that war then OK sailor, I'll play along. But Mike is what my friends call me, so don't quote that again, because you aren't one.

                        Wow, your ignorance speaks volumes.

Quite a few terrorists have been arrested in the USA (you don't get to read about all the ops in the paper for security reasons) and many were LONG before 9-11.

As for cops having guns so not needing to know about knives, well that says so much about your lack of knowledge of SD that I may put in in my sig line to warn others of the expertise from which you speak.

Hey Mike, I don't need to make you look like a fool, your posts do it fine themselves. As for making a career out of the rolleyes icon, I'm 8000 posts behind on that one, but if you keep giving advice I'm sure I'll get there.

And as for you implying your rep, means you contribute valuable material, Jubaji's is pretty green eh?

When your panties are in a wad you can't remember what you just posted Mike.

You posted more bad advice, and all you can do is whine and make personal attacks in defense, LOL.

you seriously think that all LEOs need to learn loads about knives so they can arrest terrorists?
                            thats just nuts.
Knife training is useful sure, but if you have a gun what the hell.

                              A) You're hung up on the idea that only terrorists carry knives.

                              B) You're so far out of your field of experience on guns AND knives that you think having a gun is defense for a knife. Maybe you ought to study some of the arts you spend all your time bashing, you might learn just how unprepared for encounters without a ref you really are.

I agree with everything except the 'bully' part. I think he's more likely to have always been the one muttering under his breath about what he "would do to that guy" who "doesn't know my lineage or else he'd be scared." TheoryFu works better that way.

Other than that, right on the money.
