That's definately a big part of it, but some of the stories are really good! We've been watching one about Takeda Shingen that's very interesting.

    And tomorrow---another Sumo tournament begins!!!!!

Yea the 70's were awesome. I graduated high school in 1975 and went straight to college. I could tell you some stories but it would take up the whole forumn.

I'm home with my folks this weekend, trying to relax a bit.

Probably gonna have a few more beers and look at some more of jubaji's posts of Japanese women. Man, so beautiful they bring tears to my eyes....all three of them.

I need to hit the gym and do some hard conditioning this weekend. My instructor and I are going to Cali for a four day seminar in December with some all-day workouts and I need to be ready. I didn't think I got the three day weekend, but I just called the courthouse and it turns out I do after all. Maybe I'll catch up on some work, go out to the jail and visit some guys I need to talk to. Living room still needs painting, maybe I'll finally finish that.

Next week though...just ask me what I'm doing next week! Ok, forget it, I'll just tell you. Hermes Franca is coming to our school for a three day seminar. Our semi-small town doesn't get a lot of big names in, so I'm stoked. I just hope we get a good turnout.

Today: teach and then work my second job.
Saturday: 8:30 class management workshop, then get emissions test, then meet with another teacher at 1... then I got invited to a dinner thing at 7...oh yeah, I have to bake something for desert for said dinner thing
Sunday and Monday: finish grading and entering progress report grades and planning lessons...maybe go on a Monday morning hike. I also have to clean and do laundry...it never ends!
I'm hoping to train Monday night and to read one of my library books at some point.

This is a badly needed Long Veterans day weekend. I have several boring projects lined up including getting the leaves chopped up and another do it yourself oil change on my SUV. Two private lessons scheduled and a boat load of chores. I will probably watch a movie with the Ms. tonight and hope for a score at romance.

    Whats on tap with you?

I saw it live!! We were so close that you could see the sweat flying off the guys when they got punched. Those were some KICK ASS fights! One guy we talked to who was ringside for $75 said he'd paid $500 for the exact same fight in Vegas that got cancelled...

Marquez is a rock star. I was rooting for him because I'd heard he was a bit of an underdog and because I thought it was cool and a bit nuts to fight that soon after breaking his hand... Rocky fought really well too, but I think that cut really affected his fight quite a bit. His hands also seemed a bit slower. OMG that was such a good fight. It was so exciting to be RIGHT THERE... Desert Diamond is an awesome casino with a really nice set-up.

Unfortunately, there were some losers in the crowd including some f**in' hecklers but we didn't let it ruin our night.

The undercard fights weren't really evenly matched, but were still enjoyable. The Guerrero fight was fun but a bit anti-climactic... We didn't think the punch looked like much but it did its work!
