That is exactly the point of those two links Wasteoid.... not that you have enough snap to understand that.

People who actually work with dogs know the truth, but like most of your life you will never really experiance anything outside of windows media player.

    I'm glad I don't live in this city: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mJy1oLbqOQ

By the way... one of the great benefits of living in the United States (or some Western European nations) is that many of her major metropolitans provide access to *numerous* martial arts styles and schools from around the *earth.* Along with solid infrastructure and stable government one can acquire personal character growth in numerous areas - generally speaking that is.

Anyways, you're all a bunch of ignorant, self-indulgent, spoiled, moronic brats who should be deported to some third world dictatorship for about a year just to get a very small taste of how most of the world lives in abject hunger, poverty and constant fear. Maybe then you'll get a different perspective and be grateful for the life you've been so undeservedly given to live.

More realistically, next Thanksgiving or even this coming Christmas maybe you should volunteer to serve dinners at some local soup kitchen, not as way of giving but as a form of education and to gain a different perspective.

    Honestly, kids these days!
Actually, my good friend, for the first time in human history (for at least the last decade or so) the world has more *overweight people* than skinny people.

Most sociologist today prefer not to use the terms "first world," "second world," and "third world." These terms were created by members of the capitalist democracies during the Cold War to distinguish between democratic societies and socialists societies they classified as "second world." Nations classified as "third world" as you may know, were poor nations neither socialist nor democratic. Ultimately, these terms do not accurately reflect the great cultural and economic diversity in many nations they lump together - furthermore they lack much merit to todays political landscape post Cold War.

Placing a nation like Brazil (which has a massive GDP) in the same context of category with a nation like Cambodia just isn't right. A city like Sao Paulo, which has an economy larger than many if not most Latin American *nations*, and is comparable to industrial Chicago and cosmopolitan New York, is every bit "first world." True, in international cities like Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro the "first world" exists right alongside the "third world" (favelas) but make no mistake this use to be the case with the United States also when in its early industrial days around the turn of the century (1800's to early 1900's). The area that is now New Yorks famed Central Park use to be a squatters camp before it was cleared and landscaped for what is today.

By the way, Sao Paulo city has the most helicopter taxi services in the world, where rich businessmen fly from helo pad to helo pad on top of skyscrapers. That's a far cry from business life in Cleveland, Ohio.

The United States also has many cities that boasts homicide rates equal and sometimes above that of so-called "third world" nations. Rio de Janeiro (a massive city of something like 6 million just excluding it's suburbs) has a murder rate of something like 50 people per 100,000. The *former* industrial city of Gary, Indiana has a murder rate of something like 55/100,000. The small L.A. suburb of Compton, California has a murder rate of over 60/100,000. Every major U.S. city in the Midwest has a murder rate comparable to "third world" nations. In fact at least 30 major U.S. cities have murder rates considered by "first world" nations to be "third world" level. Santiago, Chile a major metropolis with over a million people has a murder rate generally equaling or falling below Western European nations murder rates.

The United States also incarcerates more of its citizens than any nation on earth. The U.S. has more people in prison than all of the European prison populations combined.

At the close of WWII, with major European industrial cities bombed to h*ll, the United States arose as manufacturing and *export* monopoly. Today that is no longer the case, in fact the number one export in the United States are U.S. jobs. Sao Paulo city has a number of auto plants, and at least one U.S. auto plant (I believe it might have more) in that city. The direction Detroit and Sao Paulo have taken economically are very different. Both Detroit and Sao Paulo have similar murder rates too and similar unemployment rates I believe also (Sao Paulo's is 20% I think and Detroit's is 15% I think).

It is true the U.S. consumer culture consumes massive amounts of energy and material, and the U.S. still has a pretty excellent infrastructure from coast to coast, but there are variables in everything. Some how Western European nations supposedly have raised their standard of living above that of the U.S. while at the same time consuming less energy and materials than the U.S. population. I think many Americans would be flabbergasted if they went to the Islamic UAE and visited Dubai. The order, safety, and prosperity is far above that of most U.S. cities - it has wealth rivaling San Diego, California.

Speaking of San Diego and her ultra-wealth and beauty she is a completely different "America" than some of the poor rural areas in the U.S. South where you can find people living in shacks that look like they are about to fall over. These people have no running water, no electricity, and use outhouses because they don't have bathrooms. In fact, Oprah Winfrey lived like that as a small child in the South, and she has stated that the poor South African kids living in shanties reminded her of the very early parts of her life in the U.S. South.

Lol that was such a good movie. I laughed pretty hard throughout. Best part is when he's lip-synching some Back Streets Boys song. Ryan Reynolds is the shit.
