  • I had to modify it as well. I did pull-ups in a gi top hung off a beam, dumbell swings and knee high jump rope for thirty second sprints (I'm not able to do double-unders consistently enough to sprint them.)

I got the whole thing done in forty minutes and a good sweat.

Gonna run intervals today as I didn't get into the gym yesterday at all.

    • My hamstrings are SO fried still.

Yesterday a little FMA and some Parkour beginner moves as well as push jerks,
      30/35/35/40/50/50/60(f)/50/50

CFWU X 1 but I'm doing 5 pull-downs and 5 unassisted dips. Hardre than the grav, I'll add more as they get easier.

      • Starting a new diet: Don't overeat. The goal is to get down to a 29 inch waist, without having to drop under 180 lbs.

Continuing on with mid distance runs (2-4 miles) and mid distance swims ( 0.25 to 0.5 mile).

Hitting the weight pile maybe 2x per week.

        • 50/40/30/20/10 good mornings, dumbbell thrusters (only 10# each) and jumping on my 8" porch. 32:56. I was more than a little drunk while executing this WOD.

LOL that's some dedication right there.

Took me fifty-five minutes for the whole thing (warm-up and WOD). My medicine ball is less than ten pounds. The back extensions are rough for this twiggy kid.

            • You mean, dedication to alcohol?

It did improve my speed and jumping ability. Not so sure about my form.

              Nice job finishing this.

Ha well, Ya gotta live a little.

I'm not sure how I'm gonna do cleans today - I haven't got a full bar, just hand weights... May have to remedy that situation soon.

                • I learned how to do cleans with dumbbells. It's actually harder. Take down the weight a little.

                    • I suck at life... I can (almost) run 4 consecutive 10 minute miles...then I throw up.
My upperbody hates me...right now I don't even want to know how many push-ups I can do, or what my bench is...
the only thing I can count on is lower body strength...I still have strongest lower body and legs of anyone my size I know. Like it actually helps when I can barely use my upper body, and my cardio eats shit.

This'll change within the next few months...I promise.
maybe I'll start a log on here to track my progress...? Aren't there journals on this thing...maybe we should all do this?

You don't need a journal to start working out, stop slacking and start.
I tried working out again and my knee started hurting again =(.

I may be a slacker, but my lungs hurt, not my knees. Knees hurting's a bad sign, buddy...I've always wheezed. Get your stretches in before working out...slow and deep, not static, it may help.

I was thinkin' the same thing. We might have to start calling him 'Tummy Yum' in honor of his growing panza!

For myself, I didn't get a chance yesterday, so today I'm doing yesterdays WOD I believe it's going to be a rough one for me.
