No, he learned Pachi Tanglang way before he learned MT. He only learned MT to familiarize himself with MT rules so that he could pick apart MT fighters, and he did. So combining traditional Kung Fu with MT/Sanshou does work.

another disadvantages of muay thai boxing
Originally posted by CKDNotice he said combined Sherwinc and not that kung fu could take on muay thai by himself. He used muay thai more than kung fu in his fights.
wingchun's forearm is much stronger than muay thai's forearm.
yet muay thai's legs is much stronger than wingchun but wingchun's low kicks is much stronger than muaythai's all kinds of kicks.
and all muay thai as long as they get older of age get deteriorated and having no limiment oil on thier shin bone training with a complication in later years.
while we wingchun as long as we get older if it is still continue practice the better and the most power art we wingchun benefit it.

here's another disadvantages for Muay Thai....
Originally posted by CKDThe muay thai stance is not a one legged stance! Wing Chun can not take advantage of a one legged stance in muay thai because muay thai has one stance and it is not one legged!
Note:
i did not yet mention Tai Chi's Press and Push, your disadvantages is you always stand on one leg. And that is your dis-advantages.

I meant that if some TKD guy tried one of his big stupid kicks on me (for example), he would need lots of LUCK to make it count. He's most likely end up on his face b/c as soon as his back is exposed, he'd be tackled face-down, straight into the ground
It's all good to reason in theory, that because his back is faced towards you (albeit only for a faction of a second), you should be able to rush in and tackle him, but in reality the moment you see your opening you've already lost it.

And uhh, just your english man, all the grammer and stuff is all out. Maybe you should take some more time putting your words together?
Now, i take advantage of your 50% gravity left and it is one of a good reason that i can push you to the wall or drop you to the ground using Tai Chi's Ward Off or Tai Chi's Roll Back..... It's all good to theorize all of this, but you ain't going to simply walk in and push me.

Muay thais weight is distributed on the back foot? don't know bout that I just know it is not a one legged stance. But apparently so far no kung fu master has ever taken advantage of it. Bruce Lee said kung fu could not beat muay thai and so he learned it.

You study kungfu yet you wont believe that Low Kicks is more powerful than high kicks. And Low kick is much more faster than highkicks. And Low Kicks are non-telegraphic compare to Muay Thai kicks. Low kicks is best to execute in rapid multiple low kicks in the same target while Muay Thai Kicks is shit kick. Now, if Muay Thai Kicks is a "Shit" kick, then KickBoxing of yours is a "BullShit" kick.
note:
Kickboxing cannot defeat ThaiBoxing.
Originally posted by William EriepaDo you live on Mars or something? Muay Thai conditioning of the body leads to adaption. The body is hurt, the body is healed, the body adpats. An old Muay Thai fighter that has conditioned his shins throughout his life is goping to have a more stronger and durable shin bone than someone who has not. These so called "complications" you speak of are unfounded rumours. I know many older Kickboxers with well conditioned legs that are still healthy and living well.

Try it and you'll taste my foot. It's all good to theorize all of this, but you ain't going to simply walk in and push me.
I know, it's hard to understand the english of sherwinc. But he's saying that Muay Thai's lead foot is light legged, since most of the weight is distrubuted to the backfoot.
hehehe, at least i know some English of yours and you - you dont know any Filipino Dialect.
hehehe, at least i know kungfu, yet you - you know kungfu but you still dont know the benefits and purpose of low kicks is much more invincible than Thai Kicks or KickBoxing kicks of yours.
