Well I guess that I must be the dumb ass so I publicly apologize and from this point forward I Kevin Green will start bowing and kow-towing to whoever wants me to call them master. Plus I will start practising my Judo by only standing still. Plus I will only compete in Judo contests where everyone will bow to the mat and the graven image of Judos founder Kano. Iwill especially try my utmost to grovel with the best of them.And I will do my best to visualize dynamic movemant as sticks and boxes. Now I must go do my penance to the Spirits of Judo so I must put my knee pads on and see if the Spirits of Judo will impart upon me the deep secret techniquesof this religous movement. And how dare I suggest that by being a amatuer athlete that I would have any say in this day and age of what God or Gods I wish to worship.or in how I chose to worship or not worship.
I finally see the true meaning of bowing and it is best exemplified in that classic religous documentary" Deliverance" where I mistook the religous chanting for a porcine utterance.
I think that when we do bow in the mass bowing ceromony ,when we are calling upon the Spirits of Judo for enlitenment that we all squeal like little piggies.

I have been one of those reading this thread with great interest and just wanted to make a few points.

First. It is very selfgratifing that I correctly identified you as a troll after reading your first post.

Second. I thank you for the entertainment you have provided me and my classmates during warmups.

Third. You have provided a new insult to my arsenal. When I tap people now I tell then I defeated them because they bowed before class. For some reason Robert finds this very irritating.

If you do truely think that the training methods of Judo are in need of updating I am always looking for ways to improve my game so please start a serious thread and enlighten those of us who might want to learn something.

Now that I have seen the error of my ways and truly accept the fact that spirits are in charge of the judo contests does anyone know where the very best school to learn bowing is. And when are the national bowing championships? Is it best to beg or plead when asking for the true secrets of judo and does anybody know the name of some of the spirits so that I may contact them personally?
