No need to continue the discussion as it is fruitless. You want to be an anarchist and shit on those that protect you, rescue you and what not (FEMA Reference from another thread) go right ahead. People and Government are not perfect, this disaster was in fact a comedy of errors from day one but there is a lot more to it then I am at liberty to discuss.

Regardless - I apologize as well for the hijack and it will stop now.

What a fuckin' drama queen. Shouldn't you be holed up in your mountain stronghold shooting at the squirrels the government has sent to spy on you?

Whoa its a friggin comedy??? i dont see anybody laughing (but then i dont have acess to your little inside info cliche either) And YOU have inside information about it you arent at liberty to discuss? So you are saying the police are part of a cover up? i guess its my obligation to pass that little bit of info on as a good citizen (Patriot act and all ) ...BTW niether you nor FEMA protects me from shit...I take care of my own and am more likley to harmed by one of you "good guys" and your incompetance than anything else.

If I divulged that then it would kind of defeat the purpose no? Members of my family are 2nd & almost 3rd (me) Generation FEMA employees - I decided after working for them as a Disaster Assistance Employee that I wanted to do something else.

Unfortunately, I don't know what is okay for me to say and not so I just don't discuss it because I don't want to get any of them in trouble when things I post on a public website end up in e-mails across the country. But FEMA has done great things for a lot of people with many disasters. Let's not forget Hugo and Andrew. These people sacrafice too. They leave their families for weeks, months at a time to go and do their jobs helping others.

So I'm sorry again for taking over the thread with political crap but it's a subject very near to me and I know from putting in 16 - 18 hour days helping flood victims in NY in '92 they put a lot into their efforts. So just don't judge too harshly.

                  1. No you don't have that inside track therefore you speak from a position of ignorance. I could give a crap if you believed me or not a recistation of my credentials certainly aren't warranted by you.

                  2. Never said I protected you from anyone and we'll see how good you take care of your own with 150mph winds send your home to OZ - pretty sure you'll be knocking on FEMA's door then with the rest of them - but of course you must be independently wealthy and able to rebuild on your own. OH and protection...not FEMA's job either so again see ignorance statement as cited in #1.

                  3. What the heck do police have to do with FEMA and cover up? You paranoid militia types need lay off the caffeine - maybe just tazered one too many times durring those routine stops.

                  WHATEVER DUDE.

AHHHHHH it's not a cover up damn it and it certainly wasn't intentional. Good you have members of FEMA in your family then please ask them if they choose to enlighten you as to what goes on then great.

I'm not saying that it's a big secret just that I don't really know what's okay to say and what's not at this time. Listen to former President Clinton he has briefly touched on what the problem is now and says that he's going to work to help rectify it.

I'm sorry and I'm not trying to be all secret guy and I'm even more sorry that I even typed the whole disclosure thing in the first place and opened up this can of worms, but I'm not going to discuss the matter any further.

you said you had info you couldnt divulge and in a seperate post you said you were a cop....i really dont give a flying F#$% what your credentials are.

I lost my home and everything i owned except the clothes on my back last hurricane season...and i didnt get or ask for a handout from fema or anyone else...and im so far from rich it aint funny... so think again bucko

if you were so inside with fema you would know they are part of homeland security...Doesnt that imply protection? never mind the fact Fema turned back help (with assistance from soldiers)...i know, my family tried to help twice...twice we got guns stuck in our faces and the food and supplies were not let in...not to mention all the other help fema turned away...

As for what the police and fema have in common it seemed to be you...you didnt claim a fema relationship until after i made the post, before that all you had said was you were a cop.

you tell me, youre the one claiming inside info it wouldnt be prudent to divulge....since they could use all the GOOD publicity they can get, if you have info that cant be divulged then it must be bad....and thats a cover up, anymore questions?

i do like how you admit the cops tazer people on routine traffic stops though.

BoarSpear, I just read what you wrote and I'd like to express my condolences. No one should have to go through the tragedy and pain that the hurricanes brought, yet so many are still suffering.

I have read many of your posts, many of them political in nature, and you and I seem to have so many common views and assessments. Its a good feeling to know that someone over 1,500 miles away can see with the same eyes. What you wrote was the truth, but I seriously doubt that you will reach many minds here, as many of the posters here seem to already know everything they are willing to learn, and are not willing to learn, explore and exchange.

Again, I am sorry for your losses, and hope that good fortune finds you and the other hurricane victims soon.

                        Peace

i appreciate the thoughts but we didnt really view it as a loss...we survived and as a family our bonds grew stronger...dont have as many shiny toys to play with so we have to train more...oh darn

As for the politics i know i wont wake too many people up but at least those with similiar thoughts will know they arent alone

and yeah i wont ever win a popularity contest but thats alright with me because that aint what lifes about

Jason has evolved his style and calls it "Combat Aikido" now; but as he'll tell anyone who asks respectfully, he considers the basic principles the same. He's got an account here, so if you've got questions you could ask them here or on his main forum on aikidog.com

As for his arm in UFC 2,
