                      The reason that we use bricks and boards is because if we did that type of attack on a person it would destroy whatever body part we hit.

                          I think we have been thru this on another thread already. It takes hundreds of pounds of pressure to break bricks and boards it only takes a few pounds of pressure to break bones (If the person knows where and how to strike).Breaking bricks and boards is only a small piece of the puzzle. Just breaking boards does not make a person a good fighter.Knowing how to apply those techniques does.

THAT IS THE DIFFERANCE BETWEEN JUDO GUYS AND KARATE , KUNG-FU, TAEKWONDO, BOXERS, UFC'S, BRAZILIAN JU-JITSUS ETC.....WE PRACTICE FULL IMPACT ON OUR TRAINING PARTNERS.

                            AND WE DON'T PRACTICE ARCANE AND CULTURALY INAPPROPRIATE RELIGOUS CUSTOMS ,SUCH AS BOWING, THAT BREED SUBSERVIANCE AND UNCRITICAL THINKING, RESULTING IN ADHERANCE TO OLD FASHIONED AND SOMETIMES DANGEROUS TRAINING METHODS.

I cant believe you are comparing judo to all of those other styles.A two day self defence seminar will teach you to escape from every judo hold and avoid being thrown and as far as I am concerned judo and brazillian jiu jutsu(which came from judo NOT Jujutsu) are in the same class......Wrestling is not fighting. Sure it is a great supplement in case you end up on the ground, but by themselves?????Some things are best left unsaid.........................
