They dont show that on TV now do they?

Theres always rules to what they can show you on TV and they cant go beyond a certain barrier so I agree with pencode... you cant show your ultimate on TV.

Also Hulk Hogan has gone beyond many pain barriers... Poking him in the eyes and hitting him in the balls is a good strategy but how long do you honestly think it could keep that monster on his knees?
Eyejabs "keyword meaning" is right there in the word itself for us to read. An eyejab is executed like a "jab" in the sense that its an opening move, a setup technique for the devastation to follow.

Its a whole differant story if you don't have any real technique to follow up with.

    • Here is the test to work out what body type you are, An ectomorph is a underweight person, a Mesomorph is a healthy person with a decent amount of muscle and a Endomorph is overweight.

I decided to take the test from Bruce Lee's perspective but i cant answer ALL of teh questiosn with one hundred percent certainity so i tried my best!

Anyway it said Your score is 2.42.

Your body is between an Ectomorph and a Mesomorph. Choose a middle approach between the follow recommendations.

Which I think is quite acurate.

Here is the link to the test http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/beck...2&Q11=1&Q12=2.

          • akja - yes, I was Bri Thai. There was some kind of computer blip that logged me off the forum, and I had to change my name to get back on.

I couldn't bear the thought of missing advice from kids who think they could beat Hulk Hogan, and others that think Pro Wrestling is real.

I just HAD to get back.

                • The Great Sage said, that you break down muscle when you train and the muscle grows when you recover, so how can you grow when you train every day? Anyone who knows about body building will answer this for you. You train different muscle groups every day. Sometimes I lift weights every day for a week. One day I do chest, the next back, the next arms, the next shoulders, etc. By the time the fourth or fifth day comes around, the muscle group you're training has had plenty of time to recover. Understand? I've responde to many threads that are going on this web site, and it surprises me how many people should be asking questions and listening to the answers instead of making silly comments.

                  • Hey, Bri Thai,

I wonder if Robert who thinks Bruce Lee never got in real fights thinks pro wrestling is real? I mean, according to his logic, they go to the hospital, however they don't usually get killed.

                    • Water,

this reply is to you. When Bruce Lee said "be like water" He didn't mean because it was fluid and flowed, he meant that water adapted to it's invironment. In his rare t.v. interview he said "Poor water into a cup and it becomes the cup. Poor it into a teepot and it becomes the teepot. Be like water my friend." This means, when you are in a situation in a fight and it is time to kick, you must take advantage of the opportunity and kick, when your situation changes and you are in close and it is time to trap, you must adapt and trap. Water adapts to whatever environment it's put into and so must we. Get it? From studying JKD (after earning a few other black belts) I learned that Bruce & Dan studied 26 different martial arts together. They took what was useful from each one and threw away what was useless. I learned a little tai chi, because at a specific point in the fight there might be a time to push. Some dumog, because there might be a time to pull. Some kicks, because there will be a time to take out a leg, some locks and breaks because if your oppponent presents something to you, you must take advantage of what he gives you and respond without thinking.

Nope. Its Machavelli who thinks that Bruse got into loads of street fights. But he also believes that Pro Wrestling is real. Like I said, he hasn't done Bruce's credibility any favours.

I'm not against Bruce Lee at all. But I AM against blind hero worship that is big on myth, exaggeration and starry eyed nonsense. Like Robert said, if Bruce really was that superhumanly amazing, where are the people who can match that performance? All other athletic endeavours have performances that are surpassed as time goes on. Why not martial arts?

The answer is obvious. The performances of old ARE surpassed. Its just the myths that can't be beaten.

                        • Bruce Lee was human. He as a good/great martial aritst. There is no record of him winning any tournaments/fights. Let's just keep it at that because those are the facts.

                          • Thanks domstarr... but i knew that but don't you think he wanted people to be fluid like a person whos been practicing for years? becuase when your fluid your quick and accurate "like water"...

                            • Water,

I agree with you. "Be like water" probably had both meanings attributed to it. Be adaptable and also be fluid. Hey, for once in this forum people can agree and not argue.
