With all do respect!
MTF,
I have the utmost respect for the art of Muay Thai, however MT fighters have been publicly defeated in open forum by other stand up fighters...you may wish to watch a video called "Fighting Black Kings" it is a documentary of a World Championship Kumite (open to all styles) and hosted by Oyama!
The Muay Thai fighters did well but did not last the duration ultimately loosing to a Kyukoshin fighter. Also, Benny Urquidez defeated a few Japanese MT fighters...he even used his Karate/TKD based kickboxing style (landing spinning kicks and all)!
No disrespect, but winning and losing are only temporary forces of circumstance...I believe that some styles are superior to others in certain forums but the practitioner plays a major role!

PS: Thai soldiers practiced TKD! (now to you THAT might suck)
TAEKWON!
Spookey

Benny the Jet is alot like Dale Cook he fights broken down has beens (or never wases) and calls them world champions! TKD for the most part is a pathetic style. Rigid and immobile. Useless on the ground! And does little to address real world self defense! PS I used bounce (with Breathless and he is a pus!
watered down martial art! Muay Thai is equally useless on the ground ask Orlando Wiet early UFC fighter!
