    Wow a real water melon.
I say breaking a 2x6 board with your index finger going straight thru without bending is BULLSHIT.
Who the hell do you think you are kidding, besides yourself.
The proof is in the pudding.
If it is so common show us the clip. This is the internet. Show me .
Out of the vastness of the internet I say direct us to a clip.
I have seen guys at the breaking contests where they are supposed to be the best . They use little 5/8 thick white pine. Or green cement with added sand. And they use their fists or the side of their hands.
    Come on grow up.

Don't talk down and try to patronize me. Show me or forever be labeled as a bullshitter. Come on if it is so common how about a little proof.

Lets go karate guy show us .Index finger going thru a 2x6. Or if that is so simple show us something real impressive.

      currently searching the net

Here is something to ponder while I search for clips...

      Concrete Block Smashing, One Minute
Dan Netherland (USA) broke 55 concrete blocks [76.2 cm x 20.3 cm x 7.3 cm (20 in x 8 in x 2.9 3in) thick, 50 lb each, arranged in 10 stacks from one to ten blocks, separated by spacers] by hand in 17.45 sec on 26 February 2003, at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg (USA).

That dumbass also has a book on the martial art of the Jedi and nobody thinks they exist. Seriously Ashida Kim is the biggest fraud out there. He put a $10000 pricetag on the "opportunity" to fight him. So far three different people I know have offered to pay and he refused to face any of them. He is a coward who has made a load of money off of people's stupidity. He is as bad as that faith healer "Reverend Hinn".

So what I told you so

Yeah some run of the mill white pine 5/8" bullshit. And I saw some palm heel strikes ,and some using the fist but not one with the index finger and no 2x6's.

Give it up it don't exist. It never happened. You got called.

Quite the imagination you have there son.

Even your hero uses the thin pine crap. And nothing 2 inches thick .

I know what I know. I am not here to convince anyone of anything.I know It can be done it has been done and you could do it too If you would stop saying it cant be done and try it. start small and work your way up I did not start with 2x6"s I started with 1/4" boards when I was 6 yrs old and was chopping 2x6's by the time I was 14. The finger strikes came much later (late 20's) I have been studying martial arts for 30 years now.I started when I was 6 now I am 36. So believe what you want

I heard that in the very first Olympics one wrestler ripped another wrestlers heart out. That would be with a finger thrust. What do I know. I thought that maybe you were exagerating a little bit.

                  (9th degree?)
                  Can you do the splits?

I could do splits very well until I realized that the tae kwon do style super flying kicks are impractical and for the most part ineffective in actual combat. I quit doing splits regularly but I still have plenty flexability. so what styles do you practice ?

If you've been practicing for 30 years, I can imagine that your finger strikes are probably pretty sharp and accurate.

I've found that the 15-20 year mark is where all MA stylists start to really equalize in ability, regardless of style (assuming they've been working pretty hard at it and keep it up).

                      Yes, even TKD guys...

they are good for demonstrations and great for kicking down doors but I have found that they require too much time and distance to execute in a real fight unless of course the person is dazed from a strike then they make great finishing strikes.

doors are easy...aim for the area next to the lock...should crack open with one or two good teaps....
I kicked down a gate once without even trying....shit sucked, I had to pay for that...like 500 dollars....
