But Kung Fu wins the prize EVERY time! Muay Thai has it's share of ignorant foo's and TKD, and every art! But you Kung Fu guys are the worst! haha Break our knees because of our straight stance? Holy frickin ridiculous, go in the ring and try it, just try it with an opponent that gets to lay into you with every ounce of bone breaking power he has.... this is the only way you will see how ridiculous that statement is. Let's not forget that unlike TKD, Kung Fu practitioners throughout history have MANY documented cases of getting their asses handed to them by Muay Thai fighters, we are talking pictures, crowds and video! Geeze it got so ridiculous the Chinese stole Muay Thai, added some extra stuff and called it Sanshou!

Dude, don't dream about it or hope about it, test yourself! Come to Thailand like I did, hop in the ring and see if it really works! Otherwise don't talk about "what you think will happen" when you have no actual experience with it because it's completely foolish. I've used some Kung Fu and TKD effectively against Muay Thai, so I know what works... I also know what got me almost knocked the frik out and it definately did not work and I won't be trying that again!

Who's the strongest forearm? the Muay Thai forearm or Wingchun Iron Bridge Forearm?
Ans: WingChun is the most strongest Forearm

Who's the strongest kicker that can break 4 baseball bat?
Ans: Muay Thai Kicks are the most strongest

      Situation:
      MuayThai=A versus MuayThai=B

MuayThai=A kicks the head of the MuayThai=B

MuayThai=B blocks the kicks of MuayThai=A using his forearm

(since MuayThai=A kick can break 4 baseball bats)

MuayThai=A breaks the forearm of MuayThai=B in one single kick.

      Now, here's the question:
Are you all MuayThai break your forearm before you all become a good MuayThai fighter?
      Your Ans pls??????????

      Note:
WingChun's Iron Bridge Forearm is the most strongest compare to MuayThai Forearm

Sherwin, you've got to fly down to Thailand and show Wing chun superiority over muay thai. You're in the Filippines, right? You can meet up with Damian and he'll pair you up with a thaiboxer of your size and go at it full contact for three rounds - Damian can tape it and upload the video here.

          Does that sound fair?

No, i wont fight, when the devil tempted Jesus on top of the mountain to jump to prove that he is really God if He did follow the temptation of that Devil. But Jesus know that He is God and there's no evidence to prove it cause He know that he can do it.

Sherwinc, actually in Muay Thai they block incoming kicks with the leg because blocking with the arm can get it broken or at the very least disabled... whether you have WingChun Iron Bridge Forearm or just regular weak little Muay Thai forearms, they cannot withstand a full powered Muay Thai roundkick bone on bone. I've seen many fights end because someone blocked with their arm and it broke or was disabled.

Since this argument is now extremely silly let's talk about something else Sherwinc! You are Philipino? Hey! I almost married a Philipino woman! We were together 7 years, she was probably the love of my life before I met my current woman who I've been with for 5 years. (added that last part in case she comes to this board to check up on me) Anyway, while I was with her I got to know the Philipino culture pretty well and always meant to go down to the Philippines. Now that I'm closer than I was before (Thailand) maybe I will visit sometime. There will always be a special place in my heart for Philipinos.

That is the reason why for now, i conclude that how about if you have the hands of WingChun while your feet is in Muay Thai..... whether the fight is in longdistance or shortdistance - this is the best combination.

Well, WingChun is a ShortDistance range fight while Muay Thai is a Short to LongDistance fight.

                For I believe that:
                Absorb what is useful
                Reject What is useless
Add especially what is your own.

Thats not a bad combination for self defense. Again wingchun short distance fighting can be deadly, provided you use all of the open handed techniques.

its common since ......... there shouldn't even be a discussion..............have you people ever seen knight jousting before....in the movies or where ever..................when they get hit with that tremendous force it knocks them back and sometimes off their horse. now think a stupid dumb **** trying to kick a guy riding at them.....one of two things are going to happen .........most likely he is going to hit the horse and he will end up with two broken legs or the horse will stomp on him and kill him........or .... he become the best jump kicker in the world and hit the guy and break his own leg.........the horseback rider will prolly feel a force sending him back but not off his horse and with armor on he wont feel pain.

now thats for jump kicking........as for stationary kicking ......your foot could not even reach that high and if it did it would only hit his arm or leg.

the jump kicker would blind side the horseman by jump kicking perpendicular to the horses direction and knock him off. From there they could engage on the ground.
